State Mission Authority (SMA)

The objective of SMA is to take up on priority basis women issues at the highest level.
Identify key issues impacting women at the State Level.
SMA set up with Chief Minister as the Chairman with the Ministers of the participating departments and Inter-departmental officials as Members
The Meghalaya State Mission Society for Empowerment of Women was constituted and registered under the Meghalaya Societies Registration Act 12 of 1983 on 9th December 2011
